What do you do for yourself, for your "me-time"? Take a walk? A bath? Go to the gym? Read a book? Well, I have an inspiring suggestion - bring a cup of tea (or glass of wine) with you, into your wardrobe. Close the door. Put on some music. Maybe even light a candle. This is your time to be creative!
Then you start with your favourite outfits, and see if you can make them even more fun! Those fav trousers that you always wear, maybe try it with a colourful top, or that shirt you hardly ever wear, tuck it in, put on some heels! Test, try, mix, match and enjoy. This is YOU. Your time. Your moment. Your space. Nobody is there to judge or comment, to look or have an opinion. If you do this often enough, you will teach your subconscious that these fun, new, creative outfits are part of you and it will be easier and easier to take them outside of your wardrobe into real life! BUT if you still don't feel comfortable with that, that's OK, you can just enjoy it with you. You are anyway the most important person there is.
