Have you got great boots-boots?

Season of boots - what to consider

So the colder weather is upon us and we are gearing up with coats, scarfs, knits and of course, boots. I will cover the feet first, then we’ll tackle the rest of your autumn wardrobe.

What boots should you invest in? First of all, check what you already have and see what can be restored with a polish or a new sole. Don’t underestimate the comfort of worn-in shoes!

If you, like myself, wear out shoes like they were made of paper, you need to invest in new fav items to decorate and warm your precious feet.

Think :

1. Comfort - buy a pair that you can walk in, live in. Not just look good in. Just because they are a bit on the heavier side in autumn does not mean that you need to be uncomfortable.

2. Style - what do you usually prefer? Heels or flats? Higher up on the ankle or low? Apply the same for your boots! A heel can work well if you keep them sturdy. And make sure to add a rubber sole.

3. Pointy, round or square? - the best thing is, all is fashionably right! You cannot go wrong. Just go with what YOU prefer and you are good.

4. Color - Without sounding old fashioned - go black. Stylish, classy, modern, always up to date, and wears nicely. IF you go for a second pair, then you can go more fun, like a reptile print or with studs.

Stay warm and comfy!
